Frequently asked questions
What rooms or sleep setups is this Royal-Pedic Premier Natural Latex Quilt-top Mattress best for?
This mattress is suited for bedrooms that want a natural, balanced sleep surface and works with adjustable bases, slat platforms, and standard box springs. Its medium feel with a plush surface suits regular bed setups and aims for a cool, moisture-wicking surface.
What materials is this mattress made of and how does that affect daily use?
It has a 10" core of all-natural latex with 2" of softer latex on each side, plus chemical-free French wool quilted into a cotton jacquard cover. Wool adds moisture-wicking and a natural flame barrier, while the latex provides balanced contouring and durability without synthetics.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might prefer something else?
It suits sleepers seeking natural materials, a balanced feel with surface plushness, and compatibility with adjustable bases. If you prefer a firmer or less contouring surface, or a non-flippable design, other models with different firmness or construction may suit you better.
How do I get the most comfort out of this mattress from day one?
Since it is flippable, alternate surfaces to even wear and extend life. Use it on compatible frames or bases, and allow a short acclimation period for the natural latex and wool to contribute to a cooler, comfortable surface.
What should a first-time buyer know about caring for this mattress?
The mattress uses natural materials and a premium cotton cover, so keep the surface clean and ensure good airflow. Regular rotation helps maintain even support and surface feel without synthetic blends.

The hex of inner support features a 6" firm latex core with 2" of softer latex on each side for surface plushness, making the mattress flippable for extended life. The wool layers act as a natural flame barrier, wick away moisture, and stabilize surface temperature, while the outer construction uses premium long-staple cotton for durability and softness.
